I bought that dishwasher 5 or 6 months ago and I love it. It’s very accommodating for the loads of dishes. It also cleans very well and runs very quietly. I had a different cheaper model Bosch before this dishwasher that was white. The cheaper Bosch dishwasher I had was their cheapest model and it was just as good of a dishwasher but not as quiet. I went to all stainless steel appliances and that’s why I replaced it. I had the cheaper model for 10 years and it was very reliable. I love Bosch dishwashers.
Thanks for the review! I'm strongly considering a Bosch Dishwasher and from what I've seen the condensation is what is causing the plastics not to dry as well. I hope you are still happy with it as I'm about to pull the trigger on one now!
Thank you, you've sold me on it! My brother had one years ago and I was always amazed, now I'm excited for the extra drawer! Also, consider replacing the scratched up non stick pot, that teflon stuff is not good for you... maybe get a GreenPan which Ive just started using and love them!

Gotta make sure auto dry is on. Otherwise the condensation comes back onto the plastic
Did you use the auto air feature? Its suppose to help with drying.
I just bought this dishwasher and am so confused! I am single so it takes several days to fill a load to wash. I have noticed that no matter what setting I use, the dishwasher is never dry. It is always full of condensation, so my dishwasher stinks and the dishes mildew within 24 hours before I run it. The dishes are always wet. What am I doing wrong?? I see in your video that yes, some top shelf items like plastics were still wet, but mine is always wet. What type of detergent do you use and do you use both detergent compartments? At this point I wonder if I made a very costly mistake. I kinda miss my old and loud 20 year old Kenmore. LOL!
Doesn't the 500 have the auto-open feature at the end that releases all the steam that's supposed to help w/final drying?
I don’t get it. I know that Bosch is expensive but shouldn’t it dry superbly for the price? I have a 14 year old Maytag that still dries very well including plastics, it always has. Have these Bosch machines gotten worse or do you have to step up to the 800 series to get the dishes & plastics none dry?
Can the top (middle rack) be completely removed (to accommodate larger things)?
Did the dishwasher come with bottom dust cover panel? I just had it delivered and installed and the installer said it doesn’t come with one which is odd.

You need to throw out the pan. You do not want to eat Teflon from the pan.
